Julien Kamoun, Laurent Bernard, Lilian Bencini and Nicolas Gounin form Le Philharmonique de la Roquette, a French company started in 1995. Associating their music with other artistic forms, they worked for radio, theatre, documentaries and silent movies.
This show mixing short films and live music is for children aged 5 and more and their families. Three musicians play while watching 11 burlesque, poetic and moving short films being Nicolas et Guillemette, Tim Tom, Bave Circus, Goodbye Canine, Oktapodi, Miam, La Migration Bigoudenn and others. The music is sometimes written, sometimes improvised, with the use of soundtrack, pop music, classical music, jazz, musical saw, stand-up bass or even slide-whistle.
