Born in Casablanca, Serge Lopez grew up in Toulouse and lived in Andalusia for several years. The crossing of his origins have inspired him and brought to his work, shades and perfumes from the Mediterranean. Serge Lopez also interprets compositions of his own repertoire, inspired from jazz and flamenco. Lopez has worked for a long time with Bernardo Sandoval, and participated in many of his albums (including the original soundtrack of the movie “Western”, awarded in Cannes). In 2010, he performed for the first time under the baton of Nathalie Marin, alongside Nilda Fernandez, with the Symphony Orchestra of Cannes.
Artistic director and permanent conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador from 2011 to 2013, Nathalie Marin is at the same time developing her international career. She has dedicated a part of her career to the lyric repertory, conducting Madama Butterfly and la Bohème with the Karkhov Opera House (Ukraine), Le Nozze di Figaro with the Rusé Opera Orchestra (Bulgaria), Cosi fan tutte with the Pasdeloup Symphonic Orchestra in Paris and Falstaff at the Teatro Mancinelli.
