Countertenor Thierry Gregoire, a student of James Bowman, Paul Esswood and Henri Ledroi, has won awards from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Vellutti International Singing Competition (Italy). A promising voice with a rare and much sought-after tessitura, he made a name for himself in over 350 performances of Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme by Moliere and Lully at La Comedie Francaise. He quickly came to the attention of prominent conductors such as Marc Minowski, Jean Claude Malgoire, Christophe Rousee and Jonathan Darlington.
Thierry Gregoire is interested in contemporary music, too, and has been invited by most prestigious festivals worldwide.
Nolwenn Le Guern studied cello and later viola da gamba and ancient music in the class of Marianne Muller at Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse in Lyon. In 2011 she obtained her master’s degree with distinction specializing in the viol music of Alfonso Ferrabosco. She has performed in Purcell’s Don Quixote and has appeared with many Baroque ensembles.
Étienne Galletier studied theorbo in Pais, Lyon, Barcelona and Strasbourg. He regularly performs with many ensembles, theorbo, vihuela and baroque guitar. He has perfromed in Handel’s Julius Caesar and Monteverdi’s Orfeo and has many recordings to his credit.
