 . 3 in C minor and Etude-tableau Op. 39 No. 5\n\nSupported by Forbes Marsh
 all\n\nAlim Beisembayev won First Prize at The Leeds International Piano C
 ompetition in September 2021\, performing Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Th
 eme of Paganini with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Andrew
  Manze. He also took home the medici.tv Audience Prize and the Royal Liver
 pool Philharmonic Society Prize for contemporary performance\, with The Gu
 ardian praising him as a “worthy winner” with a “real musical person
 ality”.\n\nRecent and forthcoming concerto highlights include Barcelona 
 Symphony Orchestra (under Pablo Rus Broseta)\, Royal Liverpool Philharmoni
 c (under Case Scaglione)\, BBC Symphony Orchestra (Clemens Schuldt)\, Oxfo
 rd Philharmonic\, SWR Symphonieorchester Stuttgart (Yi-Chen Lin)\, RCM Sym
 phony Orchestra (Sir Antonio Pappano) and the National Symphony Orchestra 
 of India.\n\nAs a recitalist\, Alim recently made important debuts such as
  the BBC Proms at Truro\, the Chopin Institute in Warsaw\, and the Oxford 
 Piano Festival\, with upcoming recitals at Wigmore Hall\, Fondation Louis 
 Vuitton (Paris)\, Cilburn Concerts\, in addition to a tour of Europe\, in 
 association with the Steinway Prizewinner Concerts Network\, and Korea\, w
 ith the World Culture Network. \n\nBorn in Kazakhstan in 1998\, Alim has a
 lready performed with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia “E
 vgeny Svetlanov”\, Moscow State Symphony and Fort-Worth Symphony\, and a
 t Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall. During his time at the Purcell Sch
 ool he won several awards\, including First Prize at the Junior Cliburn In
 ternational Competition. Alim was taught by Tessa Nicholson at school and 
 continued his studies with her at the Royal Academy of Music. He is curren
 tly studying at the Royal College of Music with Professor Vanessa Latarche
 . He is generously supported by numerous scholarships such as the ABRSM\, 
 the Countess of Munster\, Hattori Foundation\, the Drake Calleja Fund trus
 ts\, and belongs to the Talent Unlimited charity scheme.\n\n
