 tion]\n\nThe Amatis Piano Trio was founded in 2014 by German violinist Lea
  Hausmann\, British cellist Samuel Shepherd and Dutch/Chinese pianist Meng
 jie Han.\n\nOnly weeks after forming\, the trio won the audience prize at 
 the Grachtenfestival-Concours in Amsterdam\, which quickly lead to their d
 ebut at the Royal Concertgebouw and concert engagements throughout the Net
 herlands. Winners of the 2015 International Parkhouse Award in Wigmore Hal
 l\, the trio went on to win several international prizes and competitions.
  Most recently they were awarded 1st trio at the International Joseph Joac
 him Competition in Weimar\, Germany and named Dutch Classical Talent 2016.
  Soon after they were selected as BBC New Generation Artists 2016-2018.\n\
 nThe young\, international trio has since emerged as one of the leading pi
 ano trios among the new generation\, receiving enthusiastic responses from
  audiences and critics across the UK\, Europe and Asia.\n\nFor the 2018/20
 19 season the trio has been selected as ‘ECHO Rising Stars’ by the Eur
 opean Concert Hall Organisation\, following their nomination by the Elbphi
 lharmonie Hamburg\, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden\, Konzerthaus Dortmund and t
 he Philharmonie Cologne which will see them perform in 23 of the most pres
 tigious concert venues throughout Europe.\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
