In a programme of Beethoven: Piano Trio Op. 11 in B flat major
The Amatis Trio was founded in Amsterdam in 2014 by German violinist Lea Hausmann, British cellist Samuel Shepherd and Dutch/Chinese pianist Mengjie Han. During the 2019-20 season, the Trio performed, or was booked to perform in Europe’s major concert halls, including Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Wigmore Hall, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Philharmonie Cologne, Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Berlin Philharmonie, Philharmonie Paris, and also at Mazda hall in Pune. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic crisis, their India tour is postponed. As a special gesture, Amatis trio have recorded this performance at the big hall of Mozarteum in Salzburg for us to enjoy.
