Apurva Devarajan, felicitated as the Young Musician of the Year 2016, is a versatile pianist and singer who has achieved a distinction in her LTCL diploma from the Trinity College of London and is a winner of the Prof. Blossom Mendonca Award for the highest marks in the Advanced Certificate in the Trinity College London exams held in Mumbai, in 2011. She has performed at numerous public and private recitals in Mumbai, Scotland, Manchester, New York and Sydney, and has received various awards like the Adjudicator’s Special Mention Award at the Musiquest All India Piano Competition held in Pune in 2011. She was a semifinalist at the Con Brio All India Piano Competition held at NCPA, Mumbai, 2014 and a finalist at Con Brio 2015. She also had private lessons with Shani Diluka in Paris and is currently preparing for her LRSM diploma. She has worked as a teacher and accompanist at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation for 3 years and now assists Blossom Mendonca as a teaching assistant in her studio.
