ging la Chanson perpetuelle by Chausson.\n\nFabienne Conrad\, Soprano\n\nA

s Borsarello is not only born to musician parents\, but one can to say of
him that he was born to music. This is how he plays the score of his life
without the slightest hesitation. Hugues did not choose the violin\, it is
the instrument that was imposed on him. A beautiful start! After a first
prize at the CNR in Paris\, he joined the Conservatoire National Supérieu
r de Musique de Paris where he studied with Patrice Fontanarosa and create
d a trio with David Saudubray (piano) and Gautier Capuçon (cello). At the
same time\, Hugues Borsarello joined the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchestra\,
under the direction of Claudio Abbado or Seiji Ozawa\, where he participa
ted in many tours with guest soloists like Yuri Bashmet and Yo-Yo Ma.\n\nA
passionate soloist\, Hugues Borsarello conveys to the public\, with deep
emotion\, the pleasure he derives from a score\; he knows how to decipher
the most minute facets which constitute\, for him\, sorts of winks of the
composer. Alongside his musician friends\, Hugues Borsarello has forged cl
ose ties with chamber music\, which is inseparable from the notion of shar
ing. This is how he participated in many famous festivals alongside Jérô
me Ducros\, Olivier Charlier and Gautier Capuçon. &nbsp\;Since 2009\, Hug
uesBorsarello is violin solo and artistic director of the Alsace La Follia
Chamber Orchestra and plays a violin by Michele Deconet (Venice 1777) and
a bow by François-Xavier Tourte (ca 1795) made available by Olivier Gary
 \, violin maker in Mulhouse.\n\n[caption id="attachment_11821" align="alig
nleft" width="241"] Photo credit: Thomas Baltes[/caption]\n\nGauthier Herr
 mann\, cello\n\nTraveller\, entrepreneur\, explorer\, Gauthier Herrmann is
not your typical musician. A passionate cello player with a focus on cham
ber music\, founder and director of “Artie’s”\, Gauthier has travell
ed the world for many years in the company of his family and Artie’s joy
ful musicians \; artists united by their repertoire and their loyalty to e
ach other.&nbsp\;\n\nHis focus and determination have led him to be held i
n high regard on the classical musical circuit.&nbsp\; He has received awa
rds (with the Trio con Fuoco) and acclaim at the Florence\, Heerlen\, Illz
ach\, Vibrarte and Fnapec music competitions and he is highly respected by
leading musicians.\n\nIn 2001\, Gauthier Herrmann discovered India. This
trip gave birth to the Artie’s adventure\, a slightly crazy project summ
ed up by two words at the heart of modern day classical music: family and
enterprise. Artie’s Festival’s development is thanks to an entrepreneu
r who\, wanting to set-up a series of music concerts\, sold his first cell
o\, to make possible the dream of bringing together two worlds previously
seen as incompatible: classical music and India. Besides India\, Artie’s
  have played in China\, Saudi Arabia\, Kuwait\, Vietnam\, Indonesia\, Kaza
 khstan\, Nepal and all over Europe.\n\nPierre Cussac\, accordion\n\nAfter
a rich and solid training at the « Conservatoire National de Paris » and
the Sorbonne University Paris IV\, Pierre Cussac quickly performed in man
y concerts\, presenting an eclectic and bold repertoire on the accordion a
nd the bandoneon. He thereby developed a language with multiple influences
  – classical\, traditional\, and jazz music – in which improvisation i
s essential\, and signed noted arrangements for his instrument.&nbsp\;\n\n
Regularly invited to perform as a soloist and in concertos (with the Suiss
e Romande Orchestra or the Strasbourg Philharmonic)\, he has appeared on m
any international stages: the Tokyo International Forum (Japan)\, Victoria
Hall of Geneva (Switzerland)\, Ljubljana Philharmonic (Slovenia)\, the Fr
ench Institute in Beirut (Lebanon)\, Plovdiv Opera (Bulgaria)\, Samos Fest
ival (Greece)\, Teatro Comunale di Bolzano (Italy)\, Novel Hall in Taipei
(Taiwan)\, the Paris Opera\, Salle Pleyel\, and the Théâtre du Châtelet
(France). &nbsp\;As a chamber musician\, his favoured partners include th
e violinist Fiona Monbet\, the Voce Quartet\, and the tango group Escotill
 a. A laureate of the CZIFFRA Foundation and award-winner of the Open Compe
tition of High Schools\, he has the support of the Société Générale Mu
sical Sponsorship Fund.\n\nSamuel Parent\, piano\n\nSamuel Parent was born
in 1982 in the Vaucluse. After having studied with Michel Bourdoncle in A
ix-en-Provence\, then Olivier Gardon in Paris\, he was admitted in 2000 in
the class of Brigitte Engerer at the National Superior Conservatory of Pa
ris music\, which he left four years later with a Diploma of Higher Educat
ion. In 1998\, he founded the award-winning Trio con Fuoco which regularly
performed in festivals (Aix-en-Provence\, la Roque d'Anthéron\, musical
strolls of Reims) and on the world stage: concerts at the Louvre Auditoriu
 m\, the Bozar de Bruxelles\, the Auditorium of Dijon\, Morocco\, Spain\, t
he Netherlands\, India\, and Central America.\n\nIn 2008\, he won the seco
nd prize at the international competition Rina Sala Gallo de Monza\, Italy
. That same year\, he joined the chamber music class of the Artemis quarte
tat the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium. A sought-after chamber mu
sician\, he performs with many artists such as the Ebène quartet\, Hugues
  Borsarello\, Henri Demarquette\, Olivier Patey\, Erik Berchot\, Friend Fl
ammer\, Emmanuel Christien and others. He plays regularly with violinist M
athilde Borsarello Herrmann\, an award-winning artist at the Long-Thibaud
contest. Both musicians gave recitals at various festivals such as the Pia
noscope in Beauvais\, the Festival de Colmar\, Music in the Basque Coast\,
the Musicales de Caillebotte\, the Salle Gaveau and the Châtelet theater
in Paris.\n\nSince 2015\, he is the official accompanist of the prestigio
us Class of Excellence\, run by cellist Gautier Capuçon at the Fondation
 Louis Vuitton in Paris.\n\n\n\n
