 violinist par excellence known for his combination of virtuosity and elega
 nce. He performs as soloist and chamber musician all over France and Europ
 e\, and his recording of the complete Mozart violin concertos has been rec
 ently released on Arties Records.\n\nLaurent Manaud-Pallas is the first so
 loist at the Orchestre National de France. He is also the principal violin
 ist at the Orchestre de Pau Pays de Béarn. Laurent Manaud-Pallas plays a 
 1842 violin from Vissenaire.\n\nDue to "his creativity\, enthusiasm and de
 dication" Arnaud Thorette belongs among the most promising viola players o
 f his generation. He has won prizes at the International Viola Competition
  in Genova\, Paris\, Nuremberg and Haverhill\, and was awarded numerous di
 stinctions\, among them the Prix Académie Ravel. His repertoire ranging f
 rom Baroque to Contemporary Music to Tango provides a wealth of variety fo
 r his own musical expression.\n\nAs a conductor\, violist\, composer\, arr
 anger\, founding member of the Quatuor Ebène\, and countless other distin
 ctions\, Mathieu Herzog is a consummate artist. Winner of the « Concours 
 International de Bordeaux »\, and of the ARD competition in Munich\, he h
 as performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the world. He has g
 iven numerous masterclasses and in 2009 was named Professor in Residence a
 t the prestigious Colburn School in Los Angeles.\n\nGauthier Herrmann won 
 first prize in cello from the Paris Conservatoire and since then has embar
 ked on a journey to establish Arties festival in different parts of the wo
 rld. A cellist passionately turned towards chamber music\, he has travelle
 d the globe for over ten years in the company of his family - the merry ba
 nd of Arties musicians brought together by great musical repertoire.\n\n 
 Emmanuel Christien is one of France's most diverse young pianists who is i
 n great demand. Emmanuel graduated in piano\, chamber music and vocal acco
 mpaniment. He won several awards in International competitions for piano\,
  like Casagrande (Italy) and Perlemuter (France).
