DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nArties Festival is now in its 10th edition. Its popu
 larity has grown over the years\, and it brings the finest young musicians
  to India to perform for a varied audience.\n\nProgramme 22nd Nov: Beethov

 e Borsarello Herrmann started studying the violin from the age of five wit
 h her father. After being awarded the first prize in Suzanne Gessner’s c
 lass\, she later studied chamber music with Paul Boufil and joined the vio
 lin class of Patrice Fontanarosa and Jean-Jacques Kantarow at the Paris Co
 nservatoire.\n\nHugues Borsarello was born into a family of musicians and 
 started violin at a young age with his father. His virtuosity gives him th
 e opportunity to play concertos with orchestra but Chamber music remains a
  major focus of his life as a musician.\n\nMarie Chilemme started playing 
 the viola at the age of three. In 2004\, she graduated in Viola\, Chamber 
 Music and Music Theory at the Conservatoire National de Toulouse. Marie pe
 rforms as soloist and in chamber music groups\, in several festivals in Eu
 rope. Currently\, she is studying at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisle
 r in Berlin (Germany) in the class of Tabea Zimmermann.\n\nNicolas Bône i
 s the principal violist of the French National Orchestra and he additional
 ly occupied the post of viola soloist of the European Chamber Orchestra be
 tween 2000 and 2005. He is a regular guest at various music festivals in E
 urope and has given numerous concerts\, often broadcasted and recorded on 
 CD. Since September 2009\, he is a professor at Paris National Conservatoi
 re.\n\nKaren Vourc’h is an eclectic artist appreciated for the beauty of
  her voice and the sensitivity of her interpretations. In 2009\, she won t
 he top Award del Duca\, from the Academie des Beaux-Arts and the Revelatio
 n Classique award from les Victoires de la Musique. She also won several i
 nternational awards including Toulouse\, New Voices\, Verviers and Montser
 rat Caballe.\n\nClaudine Simon took her first steps as a pianist\, by crea
 ting melodies using a battery operated toy piano. This spontaneous approac
 h allowed her to explore the universe of sound in the way that a child exp
 lores verbal communication. She has studied with Jean-François Heisser\, 
 Marie-Josèphe Jude\, Maria Joao Pires\, Vladimir Krainev\, Jean-Claude Pe
 nnetier\, Anne Queffelec\, Tatiana Zelikman as well as Alain Planès\, Gio
 vanni Bellucci\, Emile Naoumov and Bruno Rigutto. As a chamber musician sh
 e performs with her Trio Estampe and as a soloist with various orchestras.
 \n\nGauthier Herrmann started studying cello at the age of eight with Nico
 le Daihnaut. In 1998\, he joined the class of Marcel Bardon in the Conserv
 atoire Supérieur de Paris (CNR) where he obtained a first prize in cello 
 in 2000. Gauthier was quickly destined for chamber music and founded the T
 rio con Fuoco with whom he has won numerous prizes.\n\n
