 oratura soprano who studied in Munich\, Salzburg and Rome among other plac
 es. She has participated in many Opera festivals and master classes all ov
 er Europe\, and has sung the roles of Pamina and Queen of the Night in Moz
 art’s Magic flute\, Tosca in Puccini’s Tosca\, and many other operas r
 anging from Baroque to Contemporary. She is equally at home singing lieder
  and uses an unusual approach to popularize opera and art song.\n\nSoprano
  Corinna Ruba sends us a second installment of a recording specially made 
 for us in Zurich. This selection includes songs in Russian\, Italian\, Nor
 wegian and German.\n\nNe poy krasavitsa (Sing not\, my beloved) is from Ra
 chmaninoff’s 6 songs Op. 4 with words by Alexander Pushkin. Ave Maria is
  the aria of Desdemona from Verdi’s Otello. Solveig’s song is from Gri
 eg’s incidental music to Henrik Ibsen’s play\, Peer Gynt. The 3rd song
  from Richard Strauss’ famous 4 Last songs ends this recital.\n\nThis fi
 lm will be available for a few weeks.\n\n\n\n
