 renowned German experimental composer born in Mumbai\, living in Berlin an
 d working as a Canada Research Chair in Inter-X Art at Concordia Universit
 y Montr&eacute\;al. He has a long history in musical encounters: From 2000
 -2008\, he has led the Rasalila Project\, where several high-profile India
 n musicians (Dr. Ashok Ranade\, Shubha Mudgal\, Uday Bhawalkar\, Dhruba Gh
 osh\, Aneesh Pradhan) composed experimental art music for the Ensemble Mod
 ern Frankfurt -&nbsp\; a project that was highly successful\, traveling to
  some of the most renowned concert halls and festivals in Europe. Bhagwati
  has also extensively worked with Chinese\, Korean and Vietnamese musician
 s\, and is currently artistic director of two intertwined ensemble project
 s in Montr&eacute\;al (Ensemble Constantinople) and Berlin (Ensemble Extra
 kte).
