DESCRIPTION:In a programme of O. Respighi: Nocturne\; M. Clementi: Sonata O
 p. 40 No. 2 and J. Brahms: Sonata No. 3\, Op. 5\n\nIn association with Ins
 tituto Italiano di Cultura\, Mumbai\n\nGabriele Strata (1999) has establis
 hed himself as one of the leading Italian pianists of his generation. In 2
 018 he won first prize at the XXXV Premio Venezia\, the prestigious Italia
 n piano competition where he was awarded the Plaque of the President of th
 e Italian Republic and the Medal of the Italian Senate. The Italian govern
 ment previously recognized his artistic achievements in 2016 when he was a
 warded the Medal of the Italian Parliament.\n\nGabriele regularly performs
  in Italy\, and Europe. His upcoming performances include debut concerto a
 ppearances in the Berlin Philharmonie with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra\,
  in London’s Barbican Center and Cadogan Hall with Guildhall Symphony Or
 chestra\, in Beijing\, Shanghai and Shenzhen (China) with the Young Musici
 an European Orchestra\, and in Venice with the Orchestra del Teatro la Fen
 ice\, as well as a debut recital in Wigmore Hall in July 2022.\n\nHe has g
 iven recitals in prominent concert halls including Royal Concertgebouw in 
 Amsterdam\, Teatro La Fenice in Venice\, Philharmonic Hall in Bratislava a
 nd Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile\, as well as venues in Brussels\, Paris\
 , Florence\, Rotterdam\, Portland (OR)\, New Haven (CT)\,\nVerona\, Bologn
 a\, Treviso\, Padova.\n\nAn avid chamber musician\, he has played at Wigmo
 re Hall and Milton Court Concert Hall in London\, and has premiered chambe
 r music works by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman and Pulitzer Prize fi
 nalist Kate Soper. His recitals are regularly broadcast on Italian nationa
 l Radio (Rai 3) and on television (Sky Classical).\n\nGabriele received hi
 s Master of Music (M.M) degree from Yale University in 2019 aged 19\, and 
 a Master of Musical Arts (M.M.A) degree at Yale University under the guida
 nce of Professor Boris Berman. He is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma 
 degree at Guildhall School\, studying\nwith Ronan O'Hora - as well as an A
 rtist Diploma at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Ben
 edetto Lupo.\n\n\n\n
