George Cooke (cello) has performed at venues such as the Wigmore Hall and Holywell Music Room in the UK, and across Europe at the festivals of Chigiana, Ischia and Santa Cecilia. He has broadcast as composer and performer for BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, and Belgian Radio 1. He completed his Masters at the Royal College of Music in 2015, after graduating with a First in Music from Oxford University.
George has recently undertaken a private course of study with renowned guru and sarode-player Prattyush Banerjee, in Kolkata. Following performances in Varanasi and Agra, his developing experience of Hindustani classical music will enrich his cello playing and compositions for award-winning film directors in London.
Frederic Bager (piano) received a First Class MA from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied with Ian Fountain. At the Academy, Frederic won a multitude of awards including the Sterndale Bennett Prize. He is now Hodgson Fellow of the Academy.
Previously he studied with Andrew Ball at the Royal College of Music, London, graduating with a First and receiving the Kendall Taylor Prize. He was a keyboard finalist in BBC Young Musician 2010.
Recent appearances include St James’ Piccadilly (London), Colston Hall (Bristol), as well as Wigmore Hall (London) in a masterclass with Richard Goode. As a beneficiary of the MigrosKulturprozent programme, Frederic frequently performs in Switzerland, including at Salle Métropole, Lausanne and as resident artist at the Davos Festival. He has performed live on Swiss classical radio channel Espace 2.
