 ultura di Mumbai\n\nWith grace and beauty\, Gloria Campaner walks onto int
 ernational stages leaving behind her unique moments of profound\, human tr
 uth. She is an artist distinctively recognized for her multiple talents. H
 er passionate commitment to music and its social value\, have established 
 her among the finest young Italian concert pianists\, as well as a devoted
  human rights activist and beloved professor.\n\nHer vast repertoire spans
  from Bach to modern\, contemporary composers. Her innovative performances
  place her side by side with jazz and folk musicians as well as ballet\, c
 horeographers\, modern dancers\, visual artists\, actors\, philosophers\, 
 comedians\, DJs and electronic music producers\, making her one of the mos
 t eclectic and versatile pianists of her generation.\n\nBorn in the Veneti
 an inlands\, Gloria has received more than twenty national and internation
 al first prizes. Since her debut at the age of twelve with the Venice Symp
 hony Orchestra\, her rapidly advancing career as a soloist and chamber mus
 ician\, has led her to be a guest of some of the most prestigious festival
 s all over the world. International press has praised Gloria’s ‘extrem
 ely deep musicality\, remarkable fluidity\, nuancing and sense of style wh
 ich put her in the ranks of pianists with exceptional qualities’ (Walter
  Arlen\, Los Angeles Times).\n\nGloria Campaner is a laureate of internati
 onal competitions such as the Paderewski International Piano Competition i
 n Los Angeles (Silver Medal\, Best Paderewski and Chopin performances)\, t
 he Ibla Grand Prize (First Prize\, Prokofiev Special Award)\, the XI Conco
 urs International de Musique du Maroc in Casablanca (Prix de Jury\, Franz 
 Liszt)\, and the Cultural Foundation Pro Europa in Freiburg (European Priz
 e for Culture).\n\nIn the years 2011-12 she was nominated ‘Ambassador of
  Culture’ from the EU for the project ‘Piano: reflet de la culture eur
 opéenne’ \, she was awarded a scholarship from the Johannes Brahms Foun
 dation in Baden – Baden and had been the first Italian female pianist ev
 er awarded a fellowship by the London’s Borletti – Buitoni Trust (2014
 ).\n\nHer training is rooted in the best international pedagogical traditi
 ons through Bruno Mezzena\, Konstantin Bogino\, and Fany Solter with whom 
 she gained her ‘konzert -examen- Diplom ‘at the HFM of Karlsruhe in Ge
 rmany. Gloria has also been selected to participate in masterclasses by J
 erome Rose\, Sergio Perticaroli\, Pavel Gililov\, Lilya Zilberstein\, Dmit
 ri Bashkirov\, and Boris Petrushansky.\n\nAfter her Carnegie Hall débuts 
 in 2010\, Gloria’s music making has gained a recognized world-wide statu
 s. Recent highlights include tours in all the continents: Europe\, China\,
  Japan\, South Africa\, Armenia\, Lebanon\, USA\, Israel\, Latin America\,
  India\, Easter Island\, and even Myanmar where she performed for a charit
 y event in one of the first public concert after the end of the national d
 ictatorship.\n\nGloria’s charismatic musicianship and devotion for chamb
 er music has created numerous artistic collaborations across the globe wit
 h musicians such as Johannes Moser\, Ivry Gitlis\, Ana Chumachenco\, Micha
 el Kugel\, Sergei Krylov\, Quartetto di Cremona\, Azahar Ensemble\, Borusa
 n Quartet\, Angela Hewitt to name a few and as well as with principal solo
 ists of most prestigious orchestras (Berliner Philharmonic \, La Scala Phi
 lharmony\, National Orchestra of Santa Cecilia in Roma\, Royal Concertgebo
 uw Orchestra of Amsterdam\, Seattle Symphony Orchestra and Metropolitan Op
 era of New York).\n\nShe’s been resident artist at the West Cork Chamber
  Music Festival (Ireland) and at the Marlboro Festival (Vermont USA – in
  2017 and 2019) where she works alongside with pianists such as Leon Fleis
 her and Mitsuko Uchida.\n\nBeginning from a high school rock band\, Gloria
  Campaner has explored new artistic horizons resulting in exciting collabo
 rations with world-renowned jazz pianists Franco D’Andrea\, Stefano Boll
 ani\, Leszek Możdżer and with the exhilarating music comedians Igudesma
 n &amp\; Joo. Furthermore\, her affinity for dance\, led her to work with 
 Dutch choreographer Joost Vrouenraets and the Gotra Ballet in the Netherla
 nds and in Rome Teatro Olimpico for the world première of the shows ‘He
 roes Quest’ and ‘Program HQ’.\n\nWidely present in the multi-media w
 orld and its artistic expressions\, Gloria’s concerts are often accompan
 ied by works of very refined visual artists and broadcast in national publ
 ic radios and televisions (RAI\, BBC\, SKY\, CNN\, RSI\, ClassicFM). A ful
 l documentary about her was released in 2013 by RAI5 for the TV program 
 ‘Petruska ‘ and she was one of the protagonists of the art documentary
  for SKY Arte “The Heart of Stone”\, directed by Luca Scarzella\, insp
 ired by compositions of Scrjabin and dedicated to the ‘sounding stones
 ’ of the great sardinian artist Pinuccio Sciola from whom she directly l
 earned how to play his ‘singing sculptures’ . She is also committed to
  artistic collaborations in the fields of classical/electronic fusion\, an
 d with contemporary composer such as Wolfgang Rhim\, Jörg Widmann\, Rodio
 n Schedrin and Giya Kantcheli. Recent premières include new works dedicat
 ed to her by Márton Illés\, Marcello Abbado\, Vittorio Montalti and Giov
 anni Sollima.\n\nIn September 2014\, she was the first classical music DJ 
 to collaborate with speaker and webcaster Alessio Bertallot in Milan – p
 laying records of great classical music for millions of followers who hear
 d this music for the first time. In 2016\, together with DJ and producer F
 rancesco Leali and poli-instrumentalist Alessandro Branca she founded the 
 electronic group OPUS3000 with whom she released a new LP called ‘ Benev
 olence’ in 2017. In that same year their project won the national SIAE a
 ward of ‘première works’ in Italy.\n\nGloria’s debut CD “Piano Po
 ems” of solo piano works by Schumann and Rachmaninov was released in 201
 3 (EMI). An orchestral CD was published in 2016 by Warner Classics contain
 ing her live concert debut with RAI National Orchestra &amp\; Juraj Valču
 ha and the Second Piano Concerto of Rachmaninoff\, and for the same label 
 the latest album “HOME” released in November 2018 recorded with the Fi
 larmonica della Fenice conducted by John Axelrod at Gran Teatro La Fenice 
 of Venice\, dedicated to her favorite composer Robert Schumann: Kindersze
 nen op. 15 and Piano Concerto op. 54. Gloria’s most recent recording 
 was dedicated to Chopin’s 24 Preludes and was released in June 2021 ( Wa
 rner).\n\nRecent and future highlights include collaborations with RTSI Or
 chestra in Lugano\, English Chamber Orchestra\, Baden-Baden Philharmony\, 
 Süd-Deutsche Philharmonie\, Seoul Philharmony\, AfiA Orchestra of Tokyo\,
  Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra\, Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra… tog
 ether with appearances in most prestigious venues of the world such as Lon
 don’s Cadogan Hall\, Los Angeles Philharmony\, Salzburg Mozarteum\, NCPA
  Beijing\, Kioi Hall Tokyo\, Paris Salle Cortot\, Warsaw &amp\; Krakow Phi
 lharmony\, Vilnius Philharmonie\, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome\, 
 Arena di Verona and many others. This present season gave her other new ch
 allenging collaborations: with visual artist Natan Sinigaglia and his inst
 ant graphic design system video installations for the world premiere show 
 ‘Mousike’ commissioned  by the Quartetto Society of Milan \; with one
  of most recognized Italian actors Luigi Lo Cascio for the Verona’s Fest
 ival della Bellezza and with movie director Philippe Caland as pianist and
  actress in his indipendent movie ‘the Butterfly Confirmation’ ( Los A
 ngeles\, 2017).\n\nThe “Dafne” project\, on tour in March 2019\, dedic
 ated to the theme of feminicide and violence against women\, is on its way
  to next production\, together with the English violinist Tamsin Waley-Coh
 en and the Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni conducted by Domenico Mason. The p
 roject includes the piece DAFNE dedicated to Gloria Campaner\, composed by
  Mario Pagotto.\n\nIn Italy she’s a regular guest in the main Festivals 
 and Concert Institutions of the country and she had been invited to perfor
 m at the International Women’s Day by the President of Republic Giorgio 
 Napolitano on worldwide TV streaming and broadcast.\n\nIn 2020\, during th
 eatre’s lockdown because of Covid Pandemic she realized a music- lecture
 - concert dedicated to L.v Beethoven\, celebrating his 250’s birthday wi
 th Alessandro Baricco and Orchestra Canova streamed from Teatro Comunale 
 ‘Claudio Abbadò’ of Ferrara\, for all schools and students of Italy.\
 n\nGloria is also a very passionate lecturer around the world\, regularly 
 offering music courses and piano masterclasses for international Universit
 ies (Columbia University in New York City\, University of Cape Town\, Nels
 on Mandela University of Port Elizabeth\, Tokyo Music College\, Stockholm 
 Royal Academy\, Beijing International Music Academy\, University of Maastr
 icht \, UniRio (Brazil)\, Mimar Sinan University (Instanbul)\, and AAF Aca
 demy in Mexico City). In 2019 she also founded her own educational project
  named C# – See Sharp: a creativity workshop for young musicians and per
 forming artists.\n\nSharing emotions and positive energy through music has
  always been a fundamental goal in Gloria’s art\, and she is deeply invo
 lved in charity\, social and music-awareness projects around the world. On
  her international tours she takes time to meet students and children\, vi
 sit hospitals\, schools and orphanages\, disadvantaged communities\, towns
 hips and favelas.\n\nIn Italy Gloria is part of the ‘Donatori di Musica
 ’ which brings classical music to terminally-ill patients in oncological
  hospitals\, she’s supporting the children of Cometa foundation (Como) a
 nd she’s also passionately supporting ‘Musica con le Ali’ scouting t
 he new musical talents of the country.\n\nIn 2018\, Gloria Campaner was no
 minated artistic director of the concert series of the Associazione Vincen
 zo Bellini in Messina and she was appointed piano professor at the Nelson 
 Mandela University of Port Elizabeth ( South Africa).\n\n\n\n
