 was founded by Bal&aacute\;zs Kakuk in 1980 with the intention to revive J
 oseph Haydn's almost 200 compositions for baryton - an original instrument
  of Prince Esterh&aacute\;zy Mikl&oacute\;s\, the Magnificent - in order t
 o perform the pieces in authentic and original instrumentation. The Ensemb
 le plays all Baryton trios from Haydn as well as quintets\, octets and the
  baryton divertimenti from other composers of the Esterh&aacute\;zy circle
 . The Trio has done film music recordings\, TV-productions\, concert tours
  worldwide. Bal&aacute\;zs Kakuk violoncello\, viola da gamba and barytong
 amba artist\, is professor for cello and chamber music at Franz Liszt Musi
 c Academy and B&eacute\;la Bart&oacute\;k Conservatory in Budapest. As mem
 ber of the Baroque Quartet Collegium Musicum Budapest he was winner of the
  competition of &quot\;Festival van Vlaanderen&quot\; in Br&uuml\;gge in 1
 978. J&oacute\;zsef Spengler started his music studies on the violin at th
 e age of 6. From the age of 10 he was a multiple winner of the &ldquo\;You
 th Music&rdquo\; Violin Competition in Budapest. He later studied at the B
 &eacute\;la Bart&oacute\;k Conservatory and became the concertmaster of th
 e Post&aacute\;s Szimf&oacute\;nikus Zenekar at the age of 25. Since 1976 
 he has been the violist in the orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera and 
 of the Philharmony Society.Andr&aacute\;s Kaszanyitzky received a violonce
 llo artist diploma in 1998 at Franz Liszt Music Academy. He is the winner 
 of several competitions at home and abroad. He played in the Somogyi Quart
 et\, S&aacute\;ndor Frigyes Chamber Orchestra\, Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orche
 stra\, and in London City Opera. Permanent member of the Weiner-Sz&aacute\
 ;sz Chamber Symphony Orchestra and the Haydn Baryton Trio Budapest\, he ha
 s done concerts worldwide.
