 inglaIn his original music\, the Indo-German pianist and composer Jarry Si
 ngla combines European musical traditions\, not only with a variety of jaz
 z-styles\, but also with classical and folk music drawn from non-European 
 musical cultures. Jarry's compositions include pieces for his ensemble wit
 h the renowned British saxophonist Julian Arg&uuml\;elles\, as well as mus
 ic for jazz trio and symphony orchestra. Sanjeev Chimmalgi is one of the m
 ost prominent and promising Hindustani classical singers of the new genera
 tion. He has been singing professionally since his early twenties and has 
 performed all over India and in the US\, the UK and Spain. His concerts ar
 e noted for their fluidity and grace\; his forte being a highly sophistica
 ted treatment of the Raga and the delicacy of his approach to both svar an
 d bol. Hindol Deb is one of the most promising young sitar players based i
 n Mumbai and a versatile composer as well. Having started learning the sit
 ar at the age of 5\, he is deeply rooted in the Hindustani classical music
  tradition. Hindol has also been exploring the infinite combinations in th
 e crossover of Indian music with various other genres like contemporary we
 stern classical\, Jazz\, Blues\, Flamenco\, Nordic folk\, Balkan and Afric
 an music. Vinayak Netke started learning the tabla at the age of five unde
 r the tutelage of Acharya Jialal Vasant. Vinayak still continues his train
 ing and exploration of the tabla under his Guru\, Pt. Shri Arvindji Mulgao
 nkar of Farukhabad Gharana. He has accompanied several acclaimed musicians
  in concerts all over India and abroad\, as well as in their recorded albu
 ms. The double-bass player Christian Ramond can undoubtedly be considered 
 one of the most important German bassists and therefore is constantly in d
 emand. Currently\, Christian lives in Cologne\, where he was educated at t
 he College of Music. He received a scholarship for the renowned jazz works
 hop at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.
