 unded in 1966 by students of the Ferenc Liszt Academy\, and named after th
 e Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály since 1972. They are the ambassadors 
 of Hungarian string quartet culture\, both nationally and&nbsp\;internatio
 nally. They have toured the world and have recorded the complete Haydn\, B
 eethoven and Schubert quartets\,&nbsp\;among others. Their records have me
 t critical applause worldwide and the current members have re-recorded bot
 h string quartets by Kodály in 2014.\n\n\n\n
