 \;k: Piano quintet Op. 81The Kod&aacute\;ly Quartet from Budapest has cont
 inued to exemplify the greatest standards of the rich Hungarian musical tr
 adition which it has carried on with such extraordinary distinction throug
 hout the world over four decades of international appearances. The origina
 l Quartet was founded in 1966 by four students of the Ferenc Liszt Academy
  in Budapest as a continuation of the great Hungarian string quartet tradi
 tion. In 1968\, the ensemble\, called the 'Sebesty&eacute\;n Quartet'\, wo
 n the first prize at the International Leo Weiner String Quartet Competiti
 on in Budapest. By 1971\, the Quartet had established an international rep
 utation\, and in that year changed its name to 'Kod&aacute\;ly Quartet' in
  honour of the outstanding twentieth-century Hungarian composer. The prese
 nt members of Kod&aacute\;ly Quartet have performed with many great musici
 ans like Bruno Canino\, Milan Turkovic\, Mikl&oacute\;s Per&eacute\;nyi\, 
 Zolt&aacute\;n Kocsis\, Michel Portal\, Dimitry Ashkenazy\, Michel B&eacut
 e\;roff\, Jeremy Menuhin\, Tam&aacute\;s V&aacute\;s&aacute\;ry\, Jen&otil
 de\; Jand&oacute\; and Dimitris Sgouros. For this tour they are joined by 
 virtuoso Hungarian pianist\, Bal&aacute\;zs F&uuml\;lei who studied at the
  Franz Liszt academy in Budapest and the Buchmann-Mehta school in Tel-Aviv
 . F&uuml\;lei has won many competitions.\n\n
