DESCRIPTION:In a programme of Bach : French Suite No. 2 in C minor\; Haydn 
 : Sonata in E Flat Major Hob. XVI/49\; Schumann : Sonata in G minor\; Mess
 iaen : Préludes\n\nIndian-American pianist Lara Saldanha received her Bac
 helor of Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from
  Northwestern University\, studying with Alan Chow. She is currently pursu
 ing a Master of Music at The New School’s Mannes School of Music in New 
 York City\, studying with Vladimir Valjarević.&nbsp\;She has also studied
  with Serguei Milstein at the Geneva Conservatory of Music in Switzerland\
 , Inna Terekhov\, and Neya Korsantia.\n\nLara has been a prizewinner at th
 e Geneva Conservatory Liszt\, Mendelssohn\, and Schumann Competition\; Gen
 eva Conservatory Chopin Competition\; Ohio Music Teachers’ Association B
 uckeye Competition\; Clifton Piano Competition\, and DePauw University You
 ng Artist Competition\, among others. Lara’s performing career has taken
  her to 17 cities across seven countries. She played her debut in India in
  January 2017 at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Mumbai\, t
 he Kala Academy in Goa\, and Mazda Hall for the Pune Music Society. She ha
 s also performed in the Bohemian National Hall in New York\; the Bodmer Fo
 undation and Place Neuve in Geneva\, Switzerland\; and the Art Museum\,&nb
 sp\;Aronoff Center\, and Wyoming Fine Arts Center in Cincinnati\, Ohio. La
 ra is a passionate music educator\; she was awarded a Teaching Fellowship 
 at the New School in 2017\, and teaches a studio of 20 young students at K
 eys to Success NYC.\n\n
