 national stage. Trained in Hungary at the Liszt Academy\, he has the disti
 nction of being an exponent of the Hungarian school of piano playing\, spe
 cialising not only in the music of Liszt\, Bartók and Kodaly\, but also o
 f Rachmaninoff\, Debussy and many other composers. For years he has been d
 eveloping repertoire that goes beyond the canonic works of the literature 
 he has performed to great acclaim\, to include music from the Middle East 
 and North Africa. During this Arabesque concert\, Marouan will perform som
 e of the remarkable finds from his explorations\, with music by composers 
 from Syria\, Algeria\, Lebanon\, United Arab Emirates\, Egypt and Morocco.
