 ly rooted in the Hungarian tradition\, Marouan Benabdallah received his fo
 rmal training at the Bela Bartok Conservatory and the Franz Liszt Academy 
 in Budapest\, and in 2008\, was presented with the Medal of the Hungarian 
 Parliament for his achievement in music - an honour he shares with such ar
 tists as Placido Domingo\, José Cura and others. After being awarded the 
 First Prize at nearly every major competition in his native Morocco by age
  13\, Mr. Benabdallah first attracted international attention in 2003\, fo
 llowing his triumphs at the Hungarian Radio Piano Competition\, the Andorr
 a Grand Prize\, and shortly after\, the Naples International Piano Competi
