 2006\, Daniel Zapico received an award from the Académie Baroque Europé
 enne d´Ambronay for his performance as main theorbo in the opera Ercole
  Amante\, directed by Gabriel Garrido.  In 2007 he was selected by the 
 European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO) as main theorbo player\, for two s
 eparate tours of Ercole Armante\, directed by Christina Pluhar and Margar
 et Faultless\, respectively. Likewise\, he has been invited for a tour wit
 h this orchestra in 2008 with Enrico Onofri renewing a professional relati
 onship with him whom he had previously performed on BBC Radio3\, a projec
 t with Chiara Banchini (august\, 2008) and a tour with Petra Müllejans (n
 ovember\, 2009).\n\nHighlights of his recordings include the Virgin Classi
 cs CD-DVD Vespro della Beata Vergine by Claudio Monteverdi with L'Arpeg
 giata and a recording for the television channel Mezzo with La Caravag
 gia during the Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne (REMA) showcase.\n
 \nHe has\, since 2008\, taught Early Plucked Instruments at the Conservat
 orio Profesional de Música de Zaragoza (Spain). In 2009 he began teachin
 g at the Academia de Música Antigua de Gijón (AMAG) and has conducted 
 masterclassess at the University of Melbourne (Australia)\, Le Rocher d
 e Palmer (Cenon\, France)\, The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (Na
 tional University of Singapore)\, and the VII International Seminar of Al
 barracín(Spain) in addition to two transcription seminars at the Conserv
 atorio Superior de Música de Aragón (Spain) in 2012 and 2013.\n\nDaniel
  Zapico was awarded the distinction of «Asturiano del Mes» by the newsp
 aper La Nueva España\, the «Grupo del Año 2010» by the Televisión 
 del Principado de Asturias\, the Serondaya Prize for Cultural Innovation i
 n Asturias\, and the «Premio de la Música en Asturias».\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
 Pablo Zapico has performed as a continuo player and soloist in Forma Antiq
 va\, OSPA\, Oviedo Filarmonía\, El Concierto Español\, Estil Concertant\
 , La Real Cámara\, La Reverencia\, La Ritirata\, Cappella Mediterranea\, 
 Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla\, Accademia del Piacere\, La Hispanoflamenca\,
  Académie Baroque Européenne d’Ambronay\, European Union Baroque Orche
 stra\, and the Akademie Für Alte Musik Berlin\, among others.\n\nPablo ha
 s taught master classes at The University of Melbourne (Australia)\, Le Ro
 cher de Palmer (France)\, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (Singapore)\
 , Seminario Internacional de Música Antigua de Albarracín (Spain)\, Cole
 gio de Educadores de Lima (Peru)\, Universidad de Santiago de Chile (Chile
 )\, Yaşar Üniversitesi Izmir (Turkey)\, Universidad de Música de Pánam
 a\, the Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid\, and at the Universidad de 
 Oviedo. In May 2008\, he was invited to serve as the assistant teacher for
  continuo players at the seminar Musica nel e dissimulazioni European Seic
 ento led by Pedro Memelsdorff and conducted on the island of San Giorgio M
 aggiore\, Venice.\n\nDuring 2008-2010\, he taught Renaissance and Baroque 
 era continuo and plucked strings at the CMUS Conservatorio Profesional de 
 Música Manuel Quiroga. He served in the same role at the CMUS Arturo Sori
 aMadrid from 2011 to 2012. From 2009-present he has been a professor at th
 e Academia de Música Antigua de Gijón (AMAG) and from 2012-present\, a p
 rofessor at the CIEM Federico Moreno Torroba of Madrid.\n\nPablo Zapico wa
