Roger Tristão Adão studied classical guitar in Berlin and Düsseldorf and has been living as a freelance guitarist since his graduation.
In addition to the concerts in Germany, concert tours have taken him to other continents since 2003. In India, he played several times (2003, 05, 06, 07) and was invited among other things, as a jury member in 2006 to the first Indian classical guitar competition (in Goa). In South America, concert tours took him to Chile, Peru and Bolivia as well as Brazil. Outside Europe, he also played in Namibia, South Africa and Vietnam.
After releasing three solo CDs (1994, 96 and 99) on the record label FONO, he founded his own record label TIRANDO in 2001, producing primarily guitar music. The first production of this label with the Spanish singer Marina Bollain, on which the collection of songs by Federico Garcia Lorca can be heard, became CD of the week at the classical radio station MDR- Kultur. So far Roger Tristão Adão has released 14 CDs of his own and produced CDs for several other musicians.
