 )\, New National Theatre of Tokyo (Così fan tutte and Otello)\, Arena di 
 Verona (Carmen)\, Royal Danish Opera (Madama Butterfy)\, Les Chorégies d
 ’Orange (Turandot)\, Pittsburgh Opera (Madama Butterfy)\, Novaya Opera o
 f Moscow (Il trovatore) with renowned conductors.\n\nItalian pianist and c
 omposer Antonio Artese has been much sought after as a recital pianist in 
 Europe and in the U.S.\, and as a member of chamber music and vocal ensemb
 les. A former student of Maestro Massimo Marzi and Bianca Maria Orlando in
  Rome\, and of the great romantic virtuoso Sergio Fiorentino\, in Naples\,
  he won First Prize in the Rachmaninov International Piano competition (19
 85) and received similar distinction by the Performing Arts Scholarship Fo
 undation (1992) in Santa Barbara. In 2017 Antonio Artese has been appointe
 d Dean of the Global Academic Programs at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana
