Samuel Klemke is a German classical guitarist. Born into a musical family, he got his first guitar lessons from his father Tobias Klemke when he was four years old. At the age of ten he won his first national competition followed by many more. Samuel studied at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar with Prof. Monika Rost and Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering, receiving three degrees: the Artistic Diploma, the Concert Exam and the Concert Exam Chamber music together with his sister Laura as a guitar duo in Duo Klemke. He is awarded more than 25 international prizes all over the world and gained special scholarships for example to explore the music by Henze and Takemitsu.
