She w as admitted to a specialized class at the Academy Prince Rainier III and g ave her first public recital at the age of nine and at age ten\, a report on her talent was telecast by the French channel The FR2. At the age of tw elve\, she appeared on the first half of a concert with Hé\;lè \;ne Grimaud at the Acropolis in Nice. The same year she benefited from th e precious advice and encouragements from Mr. Lawrence Foster. At the age of sixteen\, she performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte Carlo.  \;Shani subsequently studied at the Paris Conservatoire and currently enjoys an enviable international career. Her recordings of the Grieg Conc erto and Mendelssohn piano works have won many awards. Currently\, she is recording the complete Beethoven piano concertos and receives special coac hing from Murray Perahia. She has also performed as a soloist with a numbe r of renowned orchestras and as a chamber musician she has collaborated wi th musicians such as Prazak Quartet\, Ysä\;ye Quartet\, Ebene Quartet\ , Valentin Erben of the Alban Berg Quartet\, or with the legendary Teresa Berganza and Natalie Dessay.
