 ay Joshi hails from Ahmedabad where he has been studying piano\, keyboard\
 , violin\, guitar\, percussion and music theory with Saurin Upadhyay at Vi
 bration Academy of Music since he was 4 years of age. Gifted musically as 
 well as academically\, Tanay has completed his first year of engineering a
 t DAIICT\, Gandhinagar. In 2011\, at the age of 17\, he obtained the DipAB
 RSM\, Diploma in Piano Performance. In the same year\, he was a finalist a
 t Con Brio\, The All India John Gomes Memorial Piano Competition. Followin
 g this success\, he was invited to participate at workshops and masterclas
 ses conducted by visiting teachers. In November 2012\, he was selected as 
 the Young Musician of the Year &ndash\; 2013\, the first in an annual seri
 es of awards\, instituted by the Olga and Jules Craen Foundation.
