 nd the Maiden&rdquo\;Kelemen Quartet\, founded in Budapest in 2010\, has a
 lready gained a reputation as one of the most exciting young string quarte
 ts. The ensemble&rsquo\;s international acclaim was further enhanced in Ju
 ly 2011 when they received three prizes at the 6th Melbourne International
  Chamber Music Competition: the overall second prize\, the audience prize 
 and the Musica Viva Grand Prize. The Kelemen Quartet also received the fir
 st prize ex aequo at the Beijing International Music Competition in 2011 a
 nd at the International S&aacute\;ndor V&eacute\;gh String Quartet Competi
 tion in Budapest in 2012.All four of the Kelemen Quartet&rsquo\;s members 
 are prizewinning Hungarian musicians\, admired as soloists and as chamber 
 players\, and close-knit both professionally and personally. This season t
 he quartet will make their Carnegie hall debut as well as their first tour
  to India.\n\n\n
