DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Sunshine Orchestra Brass Ensemble \n\nDirected by Lisa 
 Sarasini\n\nIn collaboration with the A R Rahman Foundation\n\nIn a progra
 mme of classical\, jazz and film music\, including works from Mozart\, Han
 del and Bizet to Dizzy Gillespie and Duke Ellington.\n\nThe Sunshine Orche
 stra is the flagship project of the A R Rahman Foundation and is an Indian
  native symphony orchestra in the making. Socially and economically disadv
 antaged students with an aptitude for music are provided free musical trai
 ning.\n\nThe A R Rahman foundation was founded by the two-time Academy Awa
 rd winner Dr. A R Rahman and his mother Kareema Begum in 2006. They are ba
 sed in Chennai and aim to create opportunities for the deprived and underp
 rivileged through music education. The foundation endeavours to provide a 
 harmonious and sustainable means of livelihood by harnessing their creativ
 ity\, training them in life-skills\, giving them a world of possibilities 
 which had hitherto been beyond their reach.\n\nLisa Sarasini is an English
  trombonist. Her initial music education was at the Wardle High School\, R
 ochdale\, where she played in the brass band. Lisa went on to study classi
 cal trombone at The Royal Northern College of Music (UK)\, Hochschule für
  Musik Trossingen (Trossingen University of Music\, Germany) and MUHO Mann
 heim (Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts\, Germany). She has
  performed with many professional orchestras\, brass bands\, and other cha
 mber music groups throughout her career. Since 2016\, she is the appointed
  brass faculty at KM Music Conservatory in Chennai India. She aims to educ
 ate and inspire the next generation of professional brass players in India
 \, a cause to which she is completely committed.\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
