 ules Craen Foundation is pleased to present Udit Gupta\, a new Delhi-based
  guitarist-composer.  His outgoing performance at various music instituti
 ons as The Olga &amp\; Jules Craen Foundation’s Young Musician of the Ye
 ar YMOY 2020\, has been delayed due to the Foundation being unable to cond
 uct its annual event the past two Covid-restricted years.\nUdit Gupta hail
 s from a Western classical music background with a keen ear for Indian cla
 ssical music as well.  Having passed his LTCL examination with distincti
 on\, he went on to win the All India Radio (AIR) Music Competition in the 
 Western Instrumental category and was proclaimed an AIR-graded artiste. Wh
 ile at college he co-founded a tabla-guitar duo\, The Crotchets\, that wa
 s invited to perform at several TEDx venues and most notably at the Taj Ma
 haotsav in 2019\, on the grounds of the Taj Mahal in Agra. He refined his 
 musical interpretation and performing skills under the tutelage of Madhava
 n Somanathan and has had masterclasses with world renowned classical guita
 rists like David Russell\, Pavel Steidl and Raphaella Smits.\nUdit Gupta w
 ill be playing compositions by Mauro  Giuliani\, Luigi Legnani\,  Fran
 cisco Tárrega\, Girolamo Frescobaldi\, Jean Absil\, Franz Schubert\, Nap
 oleon Coste and Antonio Lauro.\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
