 Beethoven - Liszt: 3 Goethe lieder transcribed for solo piano\, Brahms: In
 termezzo&nbsp\; C major Op. 119 No. 3\, Intermezzo in E flat minor Op. 118
  No. 6 and Intermezzo&nbsp\; in A minor Op. 116 No. 2 and Brahms: Zigeuner
 lieder for soprano and piano (Hugo Conrat)\n\nIn association with Goethe I
 nstitut (Max Mueller Bhavan)\, Pune\n\nBoglárka Udvarhelyi was born in De
 brecen\, went to music school at a young age\, and started playing in the 
 local school orchestra. She later sang solo in the school choir\, and won 
 the town folk singing competitions. After entering the Music Conservatory 
 in Debrecen\, she sang regularly as an “assistant” at the Chokonai The
 ater Choir in Debrecen and at the Kodály Choir in Debrecen. After graduat
 ion she was admitted to the Opera Academy of the Budapest Academy of Music
  and became a student of Éva Andor. Her first opera role was at the Szege
 d National Theater\, and then at the Debrecen Csokonai Theater. Throughout
  her career she constantly appeared in the female lead roles of Puccini\, 
 Verdi and Mozart operas. While venturing in the world of classical music a
 cquainted with the genre of operetta as well! Up until now she appeared in
  25 operas and 15 operettas. She toured all over Europe for 6 years as a l
 eading soprano and sang mainly in Germany\, Denmark\, the Netherlands\, Au
 stria\, Belgium and Switzerland.\n\nBesides performing on the stage she is
  also a singing teacher with the experience of 18 years at various Hungari
 an music institutes. She was invited to be a jury at several Hungarian cla
 ssical music contest and she also gave lectures to the students of Alicant
 e Conservatorio Oscar Espla in Spain. In 2013\, she received her Doctoral 
 title at the Academy of Music\, led by Éva Marton and is currently singin
 g at home and abroad!\n\nHungarian concert pianist\, Judit Gabos\, is pian
 o professor and head of the music department of Eszterházy Károly Univer
 sity of Eger.\n\nIn 2003\, she received her DMA in piano performance from 
 the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and in 2012 obtained a habilitation
  also in piano performance from the Liszt Academy. Between 2000-2006\, she
  was an artist of the Hungarian Radio during which time she played numerou
 s live solo and chamber music recitals. She has also been performing regul
 arly at the Liszt Museum in Budapest\, played at the Spring Festival of Bu
 dapest\, Pecs and Eger and has collaborated as a chamber musician and solo
  piano recitalist within the “Philharmony” concert series several time
 s throughout Hungary (Eger\, Szeged).\n\nRecently\, in Spring 2019\, Ms Ga
 bos collaborated with the dance company of Eger (GG Dance ensemble) in the
  dance fantasy “Hungarian Rhapsody”\, playing Liszt works live during 
 the dance performances in Eger and Budapest. In Europe\, she has given sol
 o and chamber music concerts in Belgium\, Finland\, Serbia\, Spain. In Rom
 ania she has frequently been soloist of the State Philharmonics of Targu-M
 ures. She was also Guest artist and professor in Farnieres (Belgium)\, at 
 the Academie de musique de chamber (2003-2007)\, and in 2019\, at the Fest
 ival de musique set Instruments Rares (Chateau de Farnières).\n\nPiano pr
 ofessor and artist in residence at universities from the USA: University o
 f Minnesota (1993)\, University of Georgia (2002)\, University of South Ca
 rolina (2011)\, in 2011\, as a Fulbright grantee\, she played concerts wit
 h orchestras and gave recitals in California (Los Angeles\, San Diego\, Sa
 n Francisco)\, Cleveland (Ohio)\, Atlanta (Georgia)\, in South and North C
 arolina\, honouring the Liszt bicentenary.\n\nBesides Liszt\, in the Unite
 d States she has performed Bartók Concerto No.3 for piano and orchestra\,
  the Sonata for two pianos and percussions\, and was featured in all-Bart
 ók recitals in New York (2013\, 2015)\, Canada (2015: Ottawa\, Toronto)\,
  Liszt-Bartók recitals in Ottawa\, Toronto\, Montréal (2016) and Vancouv
 er (2019). Outside Europe and the North American continent\, Ms. Gabos has
  played concertos and given masterclasses in Yogjakarta (Indonesia\, 2013)
 \, solo and chamber music recitals in Brazil (Santa Maria\, Florianópolis
 \, Belo Horizonte\, Natal in 2014\, 2017)\, India (Delhi\, Poona\, Mumbai 
 in 2016) and New Zealand (2018). She has also recorded two CDs with violis
 t Jacques Dupriez: Russian Dreams (Prokofiev\, Stravinsky\, Glinka\, Scria
 bin)\; Romantic Dreams (Paganini\, Liszt-Berlioz\, Liszt)\; a CD with sopr
 ano Georgina Gatto: Amor\, solo Amor. As a performer of contemporary music
  she has also premiered works by György Orbán (Sonata Grande)\, Frédér
 ic Van Rossum\, Kozma Mátyás and Zoltán Aladár.\n\n
