 udes\, Op. 25\n\nIn association with Austrian Cultural Forum\n\nVikram Raj
 an is a Vienna based concert pianist of Indian origin. He studied classic
 al piano at the University at Buffalo (New York) with Stephen Manes. Furth
 er studies took him to the Mannes College of Music in New York City with J
 erome Rose and to the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna\, 
 where he studied with Wolfgang Watzinger and Noel Flores. Masterclasses wi
 th Elisso Wirssaladze\, Zoltan Kocsis\, Malcolm Bilson\, Jean-Yves Thibaud
 et\, Naum Grubert\, Natalia Trull and the Brentano String Quartet\, among 
 others\, paved the way of his artistic development.\n\nVikram Rajan is a p
 rizewinner (1999) of the "University at Buffalo Concerto Competition"\, wo
 n the third prize at the "Chopin" piano competition in Brest\, France\, in
  2008\, as well as second prize and the special prize for the best interpr
 etation of a Spanish work at the "Teresa Llacuna" competition in France. I
 n 2020\, Vikram Rajan received a special mention at the Fourth Internation
 al "City of Vigo Piano Competition"\, where Martha Argerich chaired the ju
 ry. In 2023\, he received the second prize in the "Grand Prix" category at
  the "Music Competition Online" in France for his solo piano performance.\
 n\nVikram Rajan has performed in the USA\, Austria\, Germany\, Italy\, Spa
 in and France\, at venues like the Vienna Musikverein\, Schloss Elmau\, th
 e Bösendorfer Hall and the Bösendorfer Stadtsalon in Vienna\, and in fes
 tival frameworks like the "Accueil Musical de Saint-Merry" concert series 
 in Paris and at the "Palaissommer” festival in Dresden.\n\n
