Orietta Caianello was born in Naples and graduated in Piano Performance from the Conservatorio “San Pietro a Majella” under Aldo Tramma. She perfected her studies in Germany under Werner Genuit and in London under Peter Feuchtwanger. She has performed in several groups, being the founder of the Trio Busoni and the pianist of the Freon Ensemble in Rome. She was also part of the 2-piano Ianus Piano Duo with late Antonio Sardi de Letto. She has researched extensively women pianists / composers whose music she will perform on her Indian tour.
