Polish artist, Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky, made his international debut at the age of 16 with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in Japan. Within 20 years of his extensive artistic carreer, he toured all over the world and won numerous prizes. His performances have been held at many prestigious concert-halls around the world. Maestro Lustchevsky has wide-ranging interests in music. His diverse piano-concerto-repertoire features 30 works from the period of Bach to contemporary, representing widely the Romanticism.
Lustchevsky completed his music studies with the greatest authorities and legendary virtuosos of the Piano: prof. Andrzej Jasinski, Maestro Lazar Berman and Maestro Alexis Weissenberg. He received his Master’s Degree in Performing Arts at the ‘Szymanowski’ Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland and later, he pursued his musical training at the International Piano Academy ‘Incontri col Maestro’ in Imola, Italy and completed postgraduate studies (Konzertexamen) at Hochschule für Musik ‘Franz Liszt’ in Weimar, Germany. Currently, he is a Guest Professor and Lecturer at workshops, master courses and international music festivals. In 2011, he shaped and launched an International ‘F. Chopin’ Piano Competition for South America in Lima, Peru becoming its President and head of the Jury.
