Judit Gábos is a Hungarian concert pianist and currently piano professor and head of the music department of Eszterházy Károly University of Eger. In 2003, she received her DMA in piano performance from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and in 2012 completed her Doctorate also in piano performance from the Liszt Academy.
As artist of Hungarian Radio, she has played numerous live solo and chamber music recitals all over Hungary. As an ambassador of Hungarian music and visiting faculty, she has played numerous concerts in Belgium, Finland, Serbia and Spain. In Romania, she has played regularly as a soloist of the State Philharmonic of Targu-Mures Concertos of Liszt and Bartók. In the United States, she has played Bartók Concerto No. 3 for piano and orchestra and the Sonata for two pianos and percussions and all-Bartók recitals in New York, Cleveland, Sarasota, Ottawa and Toronto.
In 2011, as a Fulbright scholar, she played numerous concerts and recitals in California (Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco), Cleveland (Ohio), Atlanta (Georgia), in South and North Carolina, honouring the Liszt bicentenary. She has also performed in Indonesia and Brazil and is looking forward to making her first visit to India.
