Julian Clef started playing piano at the age of five in his native Kerala. After being discovered by many visiting musicians, Julian entered the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and won the RNCM gold medal when he graduated.
He then went on to study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and is now concertizing across Europe. Most recently he has been part of a series called Building Bridges initiated by renowned pianist Sir András Schiff who invited Julian to perform in his series in iconic venues such as 92nd Street Y in New York, Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels, Tonhalle Zürich and across Germany in Frankfurt, Berlin and Düsseldorf.
