In a programme of John Bull: Les Buffons 15 Variations; Mozart: Rondo in D major, K. 485; Chopin: Nocturne in C minor, Op. 48 No. 1; Schubert: Impromptu in G flat major, Op. 90 No. 3 D899; Beethoven: Sonata in F minor, Op. 57 ‘Appassionata’ (mvt 1) and Debussy: Clair de lune (No. 3 from Suite bergamasque)

Anuvrat Choudhary has been studying music and the piano since early childhood and holds a Distinction in both the Associate and Licentiate Diplomas of Trinity College London. In 2019, he was the recipient of Olga and Jules Craen Foundation’s ‘Young Musician of the Year’ national-level award, and was a prize winner at multiple all-India piano competitions, including Brillante and ConBrio.

He has given solo recitals across cities in the UK and India, notably at NCPA, Mumbai. He has been selected as a J N Tata Scholar for his musical achievements and as the first Bagri Foundation Scholar at Trinity Laban. He is also the recipient of a bursary from the Inlaks Shivdasani foundation for his Master’s in Music degree which he successfully completed from Trinity Laban.

He loves to share his passion for his instrument and for music and finds the concert stage and teaching young musicians the ideal platforms for doing so. He has also been conducting workshops at music schools on different aspects of piano playing such as practising, listening, and memorisation. He joined Trinity College London, India’s Academic support team as an academic consultant and is currently teaching, performing, and consulting about music education and pedagogy.
