In a programme of Mozart: String Duo No. 1 for violin and viola K. 423; Ravel: Sonata for violin and cello and Bach: 15 Three part Inventions (trans. Sitkovetsky)

Dmitry Sitkovetsky is an artist whose creativity defies categorising. He has built up an active and successful career as a violinist, conductor, arranger, chamber musician and festival director. Sitkovetsky has performed as a soloist with a number of the world’s leading orchestras including the Berlin, New York and LA Philharmonic Orchestras, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Concertgebouw Orchestra, all of the major London orchestras, NHK, Chicago, Philadelphia and Cleveland orchestras.

France’s leading violist, Gérard Caussé is widely acclaimed as ranking among the handful of great international viola talents of our time. This has been recognised by an impressive range of major record labels, whether for solo, concerto or chamber music recordings, earning him numerous awards from the international music press. Highly respected by his peers, Caussé performs and records regularly with Emmanuel Krivine, Charles Dutoit, Kent Nagano, Gidon Kremer, Maria João Pires, Augustin Dumay, François-René Duchable, Paul Meyer, Renaud and Gautier Capuçon.

Henri Demarquette began his career at the age of 17 with a debut recital at the Châtelet theatre in Paris and a show on France 3 television channel with the pianist Hélène Grimaud. He was immediately noticed by Sir Yehudi Menuhin who invited him to play Dvorák’s Concerto in Prague and Paris, Sir Menuhin conducting himself. Since then, his career has developed internationally and has led him to major cities, with foremost French and foreign orchestras. He also likes to play with his favourite partners: Boris Berezovsky, M. Dalberto, Giovanni Bellucci, Jean-Philippe Collard and others.
