Yossi Reshef is an international Concert Pianist, Piano Pedagogue, Conductor and Composer. His performances have been received with an outstanding critical acclaim. He performed in Britain, Denmark, Israel, Italy, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Spain, Bulgaria, Russia, South Africa, Azerbaijan,The Philippines, Taiwan, and a number of venues in the United States including Los Angeles, Boston, San Diego, Santa Fe, and Carnegie Hall in NY. He is also the founder of the Berlin International Master Class which hold place yearly in Berlin.

Reshef holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California, where he was the student and teaching assistant of Norman Krieger. At his graduation he was announced the winner of the University of Southern California Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. He previously studied in Israel with the legendary Pnina Salzman, at the Tel Aviv University. Other teachers include Mrs. Martha Even-Shushan and Prof. Jonathan Zak.

Reshef is an established international piano pedagogue, with unique teaching methods. At the early age of 23, he was invited to teach at the Apple Hill Chamber music festival in New Hampshire and following that he taught as a professor at the “Upbeat Hvar” International summer school in Croatia. His passion for sharing and teaching talented young professionals has brought him to lead over 30 international master classes in the United States, Europe, the Far East and South Africa, teaching hundreds of students, focusing on interpretation and practicing methods. He has given master classes in such prestigious venues as the Gnessin Conservatory in Moscow, the Lodz Academy in Poland, the Baku Academy in Azerbaijan, the Zagreb Academy in Croatia, and in all the leading higher education music institutes of South Africa and Taiwan. Following his Doctorate degree, he taught as a Visiting Professor at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Reshef is also establishing himself as an orchestral conductor. He was one of only 4 conductors at the prestigious USC Masters Conductors program, where he regularly conducted the USC Orchestras. He later on pursued conducting as part of his Doctoral degree. His main Conducting teachers include Prof. Hans Beer and Dr. Magen Solomon. As a chamber musician he has collaborated with many artists such as the cellist Nino Ruzevic, violinist Nikolaj Znaider, violist Yuval Gotlibovich, cellist Jonathan Gotlibovich, violinist Dora Schwarzberg, the Serenata of Santa Fe wind players, the cellists Timan Kanitz and Damien Ventula, the oboist Amari Barash, and the Apple Hill chamber players.

Alongside his performing and teaching career, Reshef has also worked in Hollywood as a Film Composer and Musical Director . He collaborated as Musical Director with Director Andrew W. Chan on the independent feature “Ivory”. Reshef coached the actors, and can be heard playing the main character of Andreas. The actors in this project include Tim Draxl, Martin Landau, Erika Marozsan, Peter Stormare, and Travis Fimmel.
