Corinna Ruba is a Berlin based lyric coloratura soprano who studied in Munich, Salzburg and Rome among other places. She has participated in many Opera festivals and master classes all over Europe, and has sung the roles of Pamina and Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic flute, Tosca in Puccini’s Tosca, and many other operas ranging from Baroque to Contemporary. She is equally at home singing lieder and uses an unusual approach to popularize opera and art song.
These arrangements of Schubert songs have been made for string quartet and voice, and specially recorded for us in Zürich.
