Chloe de Souza is currently in her sophomore year at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the US where she is pursuing a Bachelors degree in music, majoring in piano performance with Peter Takacs and voice with Kendra Colton. Chloe’s achievements in the field of music, both vocal and piano, have been numerous. At the Interschool Singing Competitions organized by the Time & Talents Club, she was adjudged ‘the Best Singer and Performer’ across all age groups. She has been the winner of competitions both at the local and national level. She was the winner of the third Con Brio All-India Piano Competition, and was a winner at Musiquest, an All-India Piano Festival held in Pune. At the age of 17, she completed her LTCL (Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music, London) diploma.
A Steinway Young Artist, Chelsea de Souza is currently a senior at Oberlin College and Conservatory, pursuing a Bachelors of Music in piano performance and vocal accompanying under Peter Takacs and a Bachelors of Arts in politics. Chelsea has completed her LTCL (Licentiate Diploma) from the Trinity College of Music, London. She has won 4 All-India piano competitions, and was the top prize-winner in the 2009 IIYM International Piano Competition in Kansas, USA. She has been on three consecutive summer music scholarships to study with Prof Sheila Arnold from the Hochschule fur Musik in Köln, Germany. She has played for internationally lauded musicians including Maestro Zubin Mehta, Leon Fleisher, Pascal Rogé and Tamás Vásáry.
